Office Manager
This hourly position is compensated at $24 per hour, 25-35 hours per week, with fewer summer hours from mid June to early September. The work is primarily on site, though some work may be performed remotely, subject to negotiation. Primary duties include production of the Sunday worship bulletin, compiling, printing and mailing of the monthly newsletter, charge conference and year-end reports, telephone management, pastoral correspondence, website management, and filing. Managerial responsibilities include serving as primary contact for the short-term building users, approving dates, times and terms of facilities use within the policies of the Trustees. Organist
We are seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Organist/Accompanist. This is a part-time position to play the prelude and postlude at our 10am Sunday service and to accompany our choir and other soloists at rehearsals (currently Wednesday nights). Salary is based on expertise and experience.
You will work alongside our Music Director. A music degree is preferred. Organist and accompanist experience are required. Please email a cover letter and resume to the church at sandpointsprc@gmail.com.
Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries
This position is salaried at $53,000 per year with a stable, dedicated funding source. It requires 35 hours per week with fewer summer hours from mid-June until September (except if the church hosts and/or participates in a week-long Vacation Bible School). Days and hours are somewhat flexible and some work may be done remotely, but Sundays and Christmas Eve are required on-site work days.
The Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries:

connects children, youth, young adults and families and integrates them into the wider life of the church;

develops outreach strategies to invite new families and to connect the congregation to the wider community;

works with the Pastor and staff to develop a ministry program which complements the faith formation for children, youth and their families;

leads spiritual and faith forming education for Children and Youth each Sunday (including Children’s Time during worship);

recruits and supports volunteers;
-
coordinates and regularly updates the church’s social media accounts.
Desired qualifications:

Christian faith that includes an understanding of the Bible beyond a literal interpretation;

Shares our progressive-leaning theology and is hospitable to diverse viewpoints;

Strong organizational skills, positive interpersonal skills, and effective communication;

Ability to recruit and encourage volunteers;

Academic coursework or direct experience in Christian Education/Spiritual Formation;
-
Experience in early childhood development and/or in education desirable;
-
Familiar with social media platforms, and confident user of software to create relevant content.
What we hope for: We have a small core of consistently attending families of preschool age children and sporadically attending elementary age children. We hope that you will connect the families in our existing congregation and lead their faith development. And we want you to create and implement appealing, meaningful programming that will attract new children and families so we can grow our existing core into a stable critical mass.
